HomeGround Pros ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Melvin Strandberg. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through homegroundpros.com and how we use it.
1. What we collect
When you fill in our project form, we collect the details you provide: whether the project is for a home or business, the type of project, your timeline, the project ZIP code, your first name, phone number, email address, company name (for business projects), and any optional details you add about the job, its size, property ownership and notes. We also record the consent text you agreed to and when, the page you submitted from, and technical data such as your browser's user agent and advertising click identifiers (such as fbclid) and UTM parameters from the link you arrived on.
2. How we use it
We use your information to review your project and connect you with one local independent contractor who may be available for it. To fulfill your request, we share your project and contact details with that contractor so they can contact you by phone, text message or email.
3. Cookies and the Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel to measure advertising and understand how visitors use the site. Where required by law, the pixel is only activated after you accept advertising cookies in our consent banner. Form events sent to Meta include the project type only — never your name, email, phone number or ZIP code. You can change your choice anytime via the Cookie settings link in the footer.
4. Who we share with
We share your project and contact details with one local contractor to fulfill your request. We do not sell your information to anyone else. Service providers that help us operate the site (hosting, email delivery, advertising measurement) process data on our behalf.
5. Your choices and rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by emailing hello@homegroundpros.com. You can withdraw advertising consent via Cookie settings in the footer, and you can opt out of text messages from a contractor by replying STOP.
6. Data retention and security
We keep lead information only as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations, and we protect it with appropriate technical and organizational measures.
